Facebook Login Not Working

This guide explains the process for ensuring Facebook is configured correctly in the Social Login Plugin:

  • Configure a new Facebook app with only "Facebook Login" settings.
  • Ensure the Facebook settings are as per screen_1.png. (but with your domain)
  • Ensure the "Valid OAuth Redirect URIs" is as per the screen_2.png. (but with your domain)
  • Set the application "Live" using the toggle at the top.
  • On your own script install:
    • Delete /core/logs/sociallogin_debug.txt
    • Ensure write access to /core/logs/
  • Update any config in your script admin area, social login plugin settings, to the "App ID" & "App Secret".
